HOW IT WORKS
Check the change.
Use your own AI.
Compare the agreed work with a new instruction. See what may need a closer look.
- Paste the agreed scope. Use the relevant clauses. Keep their exact wording.
- Paste the new instruction. This can be an email or a site instruction. Remove private details you do not need.
- Prepare your AI prompt. Choose “Use your own AI”. Confirm you may share the text. Click “Prepare my AI prompt”.
- Run it in your AI chat. Copy the prompt. Open ChatGPT, Claude or another AI chat. Sign in there and paste it. Free accounts have usage limits.
- Bring the answer back. Copy the full JSON answer into Lens. JSON is a text format Lens can read. Click “Check quotes and show review”. If the format is wrong, ask your AI to return only the JSON object.
- Review the findings. Lens checks that each quote appears in your supplied text. It rejects answers with quotes that do not match. Read the findings against the full project documents.
- Keep a record. Download the review. Check the draft before sending it. You can also prepare a request for a human review.
A simple example
The scope excludes emergency lighting. A new email asks for six emergency lights. AI may flag extra work. You still need to check who approved it and what the contract says.
What the labels mean
Potential extra work: the wording gives a reason to check for a change.
Appears covered: the supplied scope appears to include the requested work.
More context needed: the excerpts do not give enough information.
Check a notice date
Lens compares the work. The separate deadline calculator helps you check a notice date.
- Read the notice clause in your signed contract. Check any changes to it.
- Choose the notice period or enter your own number of days. Confirm the correct event or discovery date.
- Calculate the date. The web tool adds calendar days. It excludes the start date and counts weekends and holidays.
The tool does not move the date for weekends or holidays. Check any special counting rules, delivery requirements and time limits in your contract.

Use it in Chrome
The Notice Deadline Calculator is also available as a Chrome extension. Install it from the Chrome Web Store to use it from your browser toolbar.
Use it with an AI agent
Download the skill ZIP. Extract it and place the notice-deadline-calculator folder in your agent's skills directory. The agent confirms the inputs and uses a small date script to calculate the date. The script needs Node.js, but no AI credits or extra packages.

This is a date check. It does not send a notice or decide your legal rights.
Your account and your text
Lens does not ask for your AI password or API key. This option sends no AI request through our server. You share the prompt with your chosen AI yourself. Its privacy rules apply.
Lens keeps your text and review in this browser session. It does not save them. Download anything you need before clearing or closing the page.
What this check cannot prove
A matching quote does not prove the AI understood it correctly. This check does not approve work, set a price, decide payment rights or calculate a notice deadline. Check the complete agreement and required notice process.
If the app AI is connected, you can choose it instead. That option sends your text to OpenAI through the app server.
